AutoGarage Terms of Use

1. Scope and provider

These Terms of Use govern your use of the AutoGarage mobile application and its related services (“AutoGarage”, the “service”). AutoGarage is provided by Kleiners Entertainment, Constantin Petrisor Radu, Haydnstraße 3, 66636 Tholey, Germany (“we”, “us”). Further provider details are available in our Legal notice.

By creating an account or using AutoGarage, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

AutoGarage helps you manage your vehicles: maintenance and service history, technical inspections, fuel and charging records, expenses, documents and receipts, administrative deadlines such as insurance, vehicle tax and vignettes, reminders, reports and vehicle information such as known issues and reliability insights.

3. Your account

  • You need an account to use AutoGarage. You can sign in with an email address and password or, where available, with a third-party provider such as Google or Apple.
  • You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account.
  • Please provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@autointelcheck.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Free use and AutoGarage Premium

Some features of AutoGarage are available free of charge. Other features, in particular adding and editing your vehicle’s history (for example service records, fuel records, documents and expenses), may require a paid subscription (“AutoGarage Premium”). The app shows which features are included before you subscribe.

If your subscription ends, your data is not deleted: it stays in your account and remains readable. Adding or changing history may then require an active subscription again.

5. Subscriptions, payment and cancellation

  • AutoGarage Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (for example monthly, every six months or yearly). The plans, prices and billing periods available to you are shown in the app before purchase, as provided by the app store.
  • Purchases are made and paid through the app store you use (currently Google Play). The app store’s terms and payment conditions also apply to your purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time in your app store subscription settings (in Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). After cancellation, Premium remains active until the end of the period already paid.
  • Deleting your AutoGarage account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Please cancel it in your app store first.
  • Refunds are handled through the app store under its refund policies. Your statutory rights, including any statutory right of withdrawal as a consumer, remain unaffected.
  • If you change devices or reinstall the app, you can use “Restore purchases” in the app to link an existing subscription to your account.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the information, documents and photos you add to AutoGarage (“your content”). You grant us the right to store, process and display your content only as necessary to provide the service to you, for example to show your records, read text from a receipt or odometer photo when you use that feature, calculate consumption and costs, and generate reminders and reports.

Only upload content you are entitled to use. Please avoid uploading documents that contain unnecessary personal information about other people.

7. Information, reminders and estimates

AutoGarage supports your own decisions; it does not replace the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions, a workshop, a technical inspection or legal advice. In particular:

  • Maintenance intervals, due dates, health scores, consumption figures, cost summaries and estimates are calculated from the data available and from general rules. They may differ from your vehicle’s actual condition or from the manufacturer’s schedule. Some intervals are intentionally more conservative than the manufacturer’s recommendation.
  • Known issues and reliability information describe a model or engine in general. They are not a finding about your individual vehicle.
  • Text read automatically from photos or documents (OCR) may be incomplete or wrong. Please check it before saving.
  • Reminders and push notifications depend on your device, its settings, the operating system and your internet connection. They may be delayed or may not arrive. You remain responsible for meeting legal and contractual deadlines such as insurance, vehicle tax, vignettes and technical inspections.

8. Acceptable use

You must use AutoGarage lawfully. In particular, you may not access the service by automated means (for example scraping or bulk extraction), interfere with or disrupt the service or its security, attempt to access other users’ data, reverse-engineer the service except where permitted by law, or use the service or its content for unlawful purposes.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep AutoGarage available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be improved, changed or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or technical reasons. To keep the service working and secure, the app may ask you to install an update before you can continue using it.

10. Ending your use, account deletion and suspension

You can stop using AutoGarage at any time and delete your account in the app, or without the app through our Account & Data Deletion page. What is deleted and what may be retained for a limited time is described there and in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account if it is used in serious or repeated breach of these Terms or of the law, or where necessary to protect the service or other users. Where reasonable, we will inform you in advance and give you the opportunity to export or access your data.

11. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and to the extent we have given a guarantee.

For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper provision of the service possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely). In that case, our liability is limited to the typical damage foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

These limitations also apply to the personal liability of our representatives and assistants.

12. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the AutoGarage Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms if the service, the law or other relevant circumstances change. We will inform you of material changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you can stop using the service and delete your account. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside.

We are not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
